Beginning his career after getting in contact with Matt Good, from the From First to Last band, who gave him the offer of playing guitar with the band. Entering in notice instantly because of his huge capacity of talents Skrillex began to make more fans than ever. With Skrillex, the band From First to Last released its first full length album in June 2004 with Epitaph Records, with the title Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count. With producer Ross Robinson, From First to Last released their second album Heroine, after giving performances at various music festivals and tours like the Vans Warped Tour and the Dead by Dawn tour. In March 2006, Heroine was released with their old label Epitaph Records. With Skrillex, From First to Last receives huge successes and fame. Skrillex also suffered from some vocal problems during this era, but after a successful operation Skrillex managed to return to the music scene but he permanently resigned from the band and set off for his solo career. 

Skrillex gave his last performance with From First to Last during a tour with Atreyu, in Orlando at The House of Blues. On 27th February, 2007 Skrillex did his first tour as a solo artist and also released his three demos, Glow Worm, Signal and Equinox in his Myspace page, which earned Skrillex his first show. On 7th April, 2007, Skrillex played various songs at a local art building with the talented harpist Carol Robbins. Later on, Skrillex performed with Team Sleep, Monster in the Machine and Strata in the Team Sleep Tour. Skrillex also gave several demo CDs to the audiences on this tour. Skrillex did a tour of North America after recruiting his brand?s new lineup. He performed with the Alternative Press Tour, along with superb bands like All Time Low and The Rocket Summer. After this performance, he appeared on the cover page of Alternative Press annual, 100 Bands You Need to Know issue. In 2008, he started to record his debut album with the most acclaimed producer Noah Shain, the album was titled as Bells. However, in 2010 Skrillex released his first EP with Beat Record labels and mau5trap, titled as Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.

Skrillex runs an imprint label of his own which is named as Owsla, named after an organization from a book Watership Down. In 2008, Skrillex gave a performance in the 2nd Annual AP Tour. Apart from him this tour included bands like; Forever the Sickest Kids, The Matches, All Time Low, and The Rocket Summer. He released his other EP Gypsyhook on 7th April, 2009. It featured three songs along with four remixes, it also had a Japanese version of this single Mora. In April 2009, he did a tour with Hollywood Undead, where he performed with his band named as Sonny and the Blood Monkeys. Skrillex?s band included Sean Friday on percussion & beats and drums and Chris Null on electric guitar, along with Aaron Rothe on keyboards. With the start of in 2008 this brilliant musician started to perform and produce under the title Skrillex. He released the official debut EP of his on 7th June, 2010 it was released with the title My Name is Skrillex, as a free download. After that he signed with mau5trap recordings which release his 2nd EP titled as Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, and started a nationwide tour with Deadmau5.
