The band is always in comparison with Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne due to its female front. In one of the interviews with BBC, Josh Farro stated "Our faith is very important to us. It's obviously going to come out in our music because if someone believes something, then their world view is going to come out in anything they do. But we're not out here to preach to kids, we're out here because we love music". Hence, the band is proven to have its own philosophy and believes in the music that they create. The band is not just restricted to music but has also made appearances in the video games starting, the first one in 2005 with their song Pressure that was featured in the video game, The Sims 2.
