Excision Tickets for Sale

Date & Time
The Illuminati have finally taken complete control. The air is thick, saturated with a lethal chemical cocktail of virulent agents and deadly spores, most likely created in some underground global government facility. Venturing outside the cocooning protection of the heavily regulated habitable zone without a level three Hazmat suit is guaranteed suicide. However, even life on the inside is akin to one drawn out death sentence, what with a plethora of sensors tracking each and every move of the hapless micro-chipped denizens, being deemed as having a carbon curse upon their heads and designated as constituents of a pollution plague. Natural childbirth having been outlawed, human population is controlled via official fertility labs and the resulting human hybrids are reared upon a diet of genetically altered gunk instead of natural breast milk. These likely visions of a dystopian and post-apocalyptic future world are triggered by the symphonically jarring and copiously bass laden vibes crafted by the dubstep entity known as Excision . And you can conjure up your own by laying claim to some Excision tickets now.

Having been gouged out from his mother's womb some 22 years ago as Jeff Abel in the city of Kelowna in British Columbia, Canada, he has been cranking out macabre and grizzly electronic renditions for the past five years and has already carved a niche for himself. Getting in to the music production business whilst he was still in his teens, Excision developed a long-standing partnership with fellow Canadian dubstep artist and producer Dastik. Having been inspired by the sounds of heavy metal and hip hop rising all throughout the nineties and 2000s courtesy the likes of Metallica, Cradle of Filth, Tupac Shakur , Notorious B.I.G. and Dr Dre, Excision came out with his debut EP No Escape in 2007 under the label Rottun Recordings that he had founded himself.

Releasing another trio of EPs under Rottun Recordings, namely Pause / Launch EP Part 1 and Warning / Launch EP Part 6 in 2007 and Do It Now the following year as a collaboration with Noiz, Excision opted to bring forth his next tranche of musical mind-numbing offerings, all under different record companies. 2008's EPs, Dirt Nap and Serious Business/Wasted were released by Multi and Rag & Bone Records respectively and 2009's Marauder/Square One , a joint visceral venture with Endophyte and Redline was brought out under Cymbalism. 2009's System Check / Aftermath and Boom/Calypso Boom EPs saw Excision revert to his label Rottun Recordings but Yin Yang, Obvious and Swagga/Invaders led him to EX7 to deliver his diabolical sonic orgies to his awaiting musical minions.

Right off from the hilt, Excision started firing off remixes that ricocheted and reverberated with his ever growing legions of bass lovers. 2006 saw his crackling creations undergo a barrage of downloads, some 20,000 strong and his pet production project of Rottun Recordings was picked up for international distribution by UK based Nu-Urban Music. The latter label had taken it upon itself to become the primal promoter of the nascent dubstep music in the second half of the 2000s. Soon after releasing his debut EP No Escape, Excision was approached by electronic monsters Pendulum to remix their single "Showdown". Excision has also worked on a remixing a trifecta of singles by the metal music mayhem creators Korn, namely "My Wall," "Tension" and "Illuminati," the latter two also entailing Downlink.

Excision employs a number of electronic tools and software to build his incisive vibes, such as Apple Logic, Linplug Albino 3, Steinberg Cubase, Native Instruments Massive and Access Virus TI . He has been a regular fixture at the annual Shambhala Music Festival since 2008 and the recordings of his respective performances have seen millions of downloads via YouTube and various dubstep dedicated websites. 2011 saw Excision take to the road with Downlink as well as Antiserum, touring all across the US on their "Subsonic Tour". Excision 's strong penchant for performing prompted him to commence touring at the onset of 2012 and he blasted across North America, with Lucky Date along with Liquid Stranger in tow.  So latch onto some Excision tickets now for taking a trip to a macabre realm to unveil the true face of the sinister "illuminated" elite and initiate en masse defiance through non-compliance to their esoteric agenda.
