A Day To Remember Tickets for Sale

A Day to Remember is a US rock band from Ocala, Florida. It was founded by Tom Denny, the guitarist and Bobby Scruggs, the drummer in 2003. It included three more members. They embarked on a DIY tour where they played well in over two hundred shows and got the attention of both public and recording companies. The band then sidned a contract with Indianola Records through which their first album titled And Their Name Was Treason was recorded and released in May, 2005.  

Though the album was not very successful, the band kept their hopes high believing that their unique musical style would one day be recognized. The critics define this musical quality as an amalgamation of punk rock, emo, metalcore and post-hardcore. Jeremy McKinnon, the lead vocals, described it in an interview with AbsolutePunk as "weird" and "funny" because "We loved pop punk, we loved hardcore bands, and we couldn’t decide what to be. So we said… Let’s do them both."

Soon they signed to Victory Labels and recorded their second album For Those Who Have Heart (in 2007). It peaked at No.17 in Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart. In 2008, A Day to Remember was nominated as the Best International Newcomer in Kerrang! Awards. Their third album Homesick released in 2009 became the No. 1 on Top Independent Album chart in the USA. Some of their hit singles include Since U Been Gone from their second album and The Downfall of Us All, Have Faith in Me and I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of? from their third album Homesick.

A Day to Remember has performed gigs in many countries besides the USA. Their first UK tour was in 2008. Following their two sold-out UK tours in February 2009, they embarked on a Europe tour. Despite losing the core member of their group, Tom Denny who left due to personal reasons, the band went on The Pulling Your Pud Tour, its first headlining tour with Parkway Drive, In Fear and Faith, and I See Stars in September 2009. They have also performed successfully in Australia and New Zealand. In fact their current tour What Separates Me From You tour which promotes their fourth album by the same name, will go to Australia in the next month. Other bands joining in will include 3 Inches of Blood, August Burns Red, Katatonia, Megadeth and Parkway Drive. Early next year the tour will enter its last phase in the UK.

A Day To Remember - Raisin Hell In The Heartland Tour

Led by Jeremy McKinnon, A Day to Remember announced their latest tour by tweeting, “It’s been a while so we thought we’d play some shows in the US this summer.” Called, ‘Raisin Hell in the Heartland Tour,’ the group is scheduled to begin the road trip by performing the first gig at the Wixo Spring Fling in Peoria on May 31, 2019. They will then head to Columbus to play their second concert at the Express Live! on June 5, 2019. From there, A Day to Remember will go on to trek through cities like, San Antonio, New Orleans, Birmingham and Richmond before they conclude the tour by playing their last show in Providence on June 28, 2019.
