The main characters of the musical are Mark Cohen, Roger Davis, Mimi Marquez, Tom Collins, Angel Dumott Schunard, Maureen Johnson, Joanne Jefferson and Benjamin Coffin 3 which were performed by Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jesse L. Martin, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Idina Menzel, Fredi Walker and Taye Diggs respectively in the Broadway production. Rent is a heart touching show which features the hardships, desires and struggles in life which is presented with the help of an impressive direction, breath-taking performances and brilliant songs. "Tune Up", "Voice Mail", "One Song Glory", "Light My Candle", "You’ll See", "Another Day", "Santa Fe", "On the Street", "I’ll Cover You", "Over the Moon", "La Vie Boheme" and "I Should tell You" are the songs from the act 1 of the show while "Seasons of Love", "Happy new Year", "Take Me Or Leave Me", "Without You", "Contact", "Halloween", "Goodbye Love", "What You Own", "Your Eyes" and "Play out" are the songs from the act 2 of the show. The first International Tour of Rent started in 2005 and went till 2006.
