A hilarious show with amazing magic is what Penn and Teller are known for! A man hangs upside down over fire or a board of spikes, jaw dropping card tricks from an ordinary deck, snake cutting on the sets or the classical vanishing a rabbit, lifting off with boxes with body parts in it, smoke and mirrors tricks are the least to expect from a Penn and Teller show. You never know they might also tell you the underlying secret of your favorite trick because they are Penn and Teller and that's how they do it.

Penn & Teller are entertainers and illusionists who have been performing as a duo since the late 70s. They have gained fame over the years because of their several television and live stage shows. The event they are currently running in Las Vegas is a fun filled combination of comedy and magic. In the show, Penn is the one who acts as the raconteur and orator, while Teller normally remains silent during the performances, he mimes nonverbally. The duo specializes in exposing frauds, gory tricks and other clever pranks. Only recently, they have started including elements of scientific skepticisms, libertarianism and atheism in their performances, especially in their TV show “Penn & Teller: Bullshit.” Now their illusions are coming to your town and you can attend the show with Penn Teller tickets.

The best thing about Penn and Teller is that they are the best in what they do! Their knowledge of magic has been recognized all over the place. They have also given lectures in various universities including Oxford University and the Smithsonian Institution. They are also visiting scholars at MIT and have been honored with the Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Award. All these sophisticated lectureships and honors don't in anyway mar the hilarity and slapstick humor of their acts. They have a take on everything be it psychics, religion, the pseudoscientific, conspiracy theories, paranormals, gun control, astrology, Feng Shui, environmental issues, PETA, weight loss, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the war on drugs. The duo never shies away from expressing their point of view. They hide their strong social and political views with comic skepticism.

Their popular Television series "Bulls" also debunks such libertarian views. The series has already aired seven seasons and has a lot more to offer yet. It has been one of the Showtime's longest running television series ever. This series has worldwide popularity in countries like Argentina, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Their other television ventures include Penn & Teller Go Public, Don't Try This at Home, Behind the Scenes, The Unpleasant World of Penn & Teller series, Phobophilia, Penn & Teller's Home Invasion, Penn & Teller's Sin City Spectacular, Magic and Mystery Tour, And Penn & Teller: Off the Deep End. They have also starred in many Hollywood Flicks and have made guest appearances on many television shows. They have also written a couple of books and have their very own video game.

They are hilarious, they are provocative, and they are edgy! They are notoriously known as the Bad Boys in the world of magic. Their Bad Boy image is obviously because they reveal all the supposedly dark secrets of the magic world. Their shows are an outrageous dose of fun and facts. The original concept of the show is undoubtedly a breath of fresh air in the world of entertainment. They are unexpectedly hilarious and uninhibited. You can expect anything in their shows including knives, guns, a fire-eating showgirl and a duck!

Penn and Teller are very successful not on television but were one of the best sellers at Broadway as well. The duo has been extremely popular in the masses and has been critically acclaimed. They have been nominated for so many awards in recognition of their startling talent. They have been nominated for various categories of the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America and Emmy Awards.

Penn and Teller are at their best when seen live. Their atrocious blend of comedy and magic can touch any limits. They are usually known as the skewers of traditional magic and no criticism can bring them down. The highlight of their show is not just their acts but they make sure that they personally meet and greet their audiences after the show. They have been touring around the country and also have a permanent gig at the Rio All-Suite Hotel in Las Vegas. To learn some real magic tricks get your Pen and Teller tickets now!

Penn and Teller met through Weir Chrisimer and performed together for the very first time in August of 1975 at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Starting from there till 1981, Penn and Teller along with Chrisimer arranged live performances as a trio named "The Asparagus Valley Cultural Society." The trio used to play at the Phoenix Theatre in San Francisco. Some of the tricks that Chrisimer introduced are still in use, which include the "shadows" trick by Teller.

Penn & Teller started their off-Broadway show in 1985 which received rave reviews. The same year they also won an Emmy award for their PBS show named "Penn & Teller Go Public." Two years later they started their first Broadway show which became instantly successful. During the late 80s and the early 90s, Penn & Teller also made several appearances in popular television shows such as Saturday Night Live, Late Night With David Letterman, Today, Late Night With Canon O’Brien and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

Penn & Teller toured nationally during the 90s as well, which brought them further fame and increased their fan base. This was followed by guest appearances at the television shows like Hollywood Squares, The Drew Carey Show, Muppets Tonight, Fear Factor, The Bernie Mac Show and Babylon 5. Later they appeared in the music video of Run-DMC’s ‘It’s Tricky.’ This was followed by the launch of their own television show titled ‘Bullshit!’ It revolves around the topics of pseudoscientific, religion, paranormal, conspiracy theories and psychics.  The show also features segments which address issues such as astrology, gun control, PETA, environmental issues, war on drugs and Americans with Disabilities Act.

Penn & Teller released a book by the name of ‘Penn & Teller How to Play in Traffic.’ In the book it is mentioned that they do not drink alcohol or take any drugs. This includes coffee as well although in some of their videos they are shown smoking cigarettes. According to Penn, he never took alcohol and once when he was supposed to have a surgery, the doctor had to give him a very small dose of anesthesia because he could not take a heavy one. Apart from that, the two have written several other books as well, most of them being about magic. These include ‘Penn & Teller’s How to Play with Your Food’ and ‘Penn & Teller’s Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends.’

Penn has also hosted shows on the radio, including a one hour talk show for Infinity Broadcasting Free FM.  He was also the co-host of ‘Identity,’ the game show. Because of their unique mode of entertainment, and their service to the field, Penn & Teller were given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April of 2013. Now these magicians are ready to stage a performance in your town, for which Penn Teller tickets have been made available.
