Synopsis of Mamma Mia!

Past Productions

The West End production first opened in April 1999 at the Prince Edward Theatre and eventually moved to the Prince of Wales Theatre in June 2004. In September 2012, Mamma Mia! was moved to the famed Novello Theatre. The musical opened in Toronto and played there for five years, before premiering in the US in San Francisco. The Broadway musical opened at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York in 2001 and continued to play there until September 2015, becoming one of the longest-running jukebox musicals in the history of Broadway. In addition to these, Mamma Mia! has also toured internationally, playing in more than fifty countries across six continents.
