The musical represents the 80s obsession with rock and roll and the era that represented rebellion, drugs and loud music. Opening on Broadway in 2005, the musical has toured all through America, North America as well as Australia. Separated into four different sections, each member of the group comes on stage to narrate the events and their respective experiences as a part of The Four Seasons. The four seasons of the year; spring, summer, fall and winter are represented by each member of the group. Tommy DeVito opens the musical Jersey Boys with claims to have started the band with his brother and later meeting the other members and training them.

Bob Gaudio comes in with the summer and tells the audience about the back to back hits that the band gave and the media frenzy their music and personal lives created. The second act is opened by Nick Massi who blames Bob’s selfishness for ignoring the rift within the band, the money problems they were facing and their personal issues. Frankie Valli ends the second act and the finale reunited the original members on the stage. The musical is a glimpse into the backstage politics of a band that was apparently enjoying fame and money.
