Dear Evan Hansen is creative brainchild of Justin Paul, Steven Levenson and Benj Pasek. The show’s music and lyrics are provided by Pasek and Paul while the book has been written by Levenson. This musical premiered at the Arena Stage in Washington D.C. where it completed several performances from July 10 to August 23, 2015.

In 2016, Dear Evan Hansen opened off-Broadway at the Second Stage Theater on May 1st. In the same year, it premiered on Broadway and became a huge success. This Production of the show bagged multiple Tonys including two for, ‘Best Musical’ and ‘Best Book of a Musical.’ Since then it has gone on to tour the States and was also performed in Toronto.
