They went the entire season unbeaten on the way to winning the national championship by beating Nebraska 22 - 15. The Tigers’ latest ACC championship title came when they swept Virginia Tech 38 – 10 in 2011.


The Clemson Tigers have also made thirty six bowl game appearances, including the most recent one when they beat the Ohio State on January 3, 2014 in the Orange Bowl. The team played its very first bowl game back in 1940 and since then it has compiled an 18 – 18 record.
