In 2009, the name was changed to "Extreme Rules".
WWE Extreme Rules features some of the finest and most in demand wrestlers of WWE. The unforgettable Extreme Rules 2012 contests, took place in April at Allstate Arena, Rosemont, Illinois. The contestants were Brock Lesnar and John Cena, who had a rivalry going on for a long time. The match was won by John Cena, after an intense fight. The battle was never one sided and it really couldn’t be figured out who would emerge as the winner. However, by the end John Cena was the one who was able to endure all the pain and fight till the end. He took the winner’s title.
With the promise of intense and exciting matches, WWE Extreme Rules is now coming to St. Louis, Missouri this year. The event will take place at Scottrade Center, located downtown St. Louis.
