South Florida Bullas are a group of fifteen varsity teams that have been playing under the patronage of the University of South Florida. The Bulls are headquartered in the scenic city of Tampa. The team players are often referred to as just Bulls. The official team colors are gold and green whereas the official mascot is Rocky the Bull. This mascot is basically an anthropomorphized bull who can often be cited at different team events usually dressed up in a basketball or football jersey. The current director of the sports program is Doug Woolard. The home venues for different games are USF Sun Dome for basketball, USF Baseball Stadium, Raymond James Stadium for Football and Corbett Stadium for soccer. Sun Dome can seat over 10,000 fans whereas the Raymond James Stadium has the capacity for almost 70,000 spectators. This venue is also home to the very strong Tama Bay Buccaneers.

The Bulls actively participate in a wide variety of sports, the males take part in baseball, basketball, football, tennis, golf, cross country, soccer and Track & Field. The women teams also play more or less the same sports but they also actively participate in sailing, softball and volleyball. The best record of the Bulls in a football season was in 2002 when they played 11 games and lost only 2. The Bulls basketball team is a tough one in 2012 they squared off against three strong opponents. They managed to beat two teams and lost just from one. The women sailing program is also going on and the current coach is former Olympic Gold Medalist Allison Jolly. Soccer is also one game that the Bulls are pretty good at, in 2011 they were the winners of the Big East Red Division.
