The Royals enjoyed one of their most famous seasons in history last year. After the heartbreak of losing the 2014 World Series, the team held strong throughout the season to lift their second World Championship. The Royals finished first in their division after posting a 95-67 overall record and won their seventh division title. They defeated the Astros, Blue Jays and the New York Mets en route to the World Series.

The team narrowly missed out on a wild card berth after losing the last game of their season and finished third in their division. They will certainly believe they can improve on that record this season and will be hoping to test their mettle against the best team in the league currently.
