Soccer fans have got a real treat coming their way and they can enjoy it all by getting their International Champions Cup tickets. Following the conclusion of yet another unbelievable club soccer campaign in Europe, some of the continent’s biggest sides will be heading over to the United States for their preseason tour. These include Real Madrid, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Fiorentina, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. Mexican outfit Chivas Guadalajara will also be joining these European heavyweights. Many of the best players in the game will be on show as teams look to prepare well for the new season getting underway in August. Attaining good form and fitness will be the target for every player as they all aim to hit the ground running come the new soccer campaign.

Concert Tickets Similar to International Champions Cup

The International Champions Cup was previously held as the World Football Challenge. This international soccer tournament was founded in 2009 and also covered the UEFA and CONCACAF federations. The two hosts for the tournament were the US and Canada, with a different number of teams playing each year. It was broadcast live by Univision and ESPN. An international club exhibition competition, it featured some of the best soccer clubs from North America and Europe. The first World Football Challenge featured such teams as Chelsea FC from the English Premier League to Club America from Mexico, AC Milan and Internazionale from the Italian Seria A league.

Chelsea FC won the first World Football Challenge. The second challenge was organized in 2011 and made up of fourteen matches, played in Canada and the US. It include many more teams than the previous tournament, with five soccer teams from Major League Soccer. The tournament saw Real Madrid FC emerge as the victors with Manchester United FC of the English Premier League emerging as the runner ups. Other European soccer clubs to compete in the tournament were Sporting CP and Juventus from Italy. In 2012, the challenge was organized again with eleven clubs taking part. Real Madrid FC again dominated the tournament, playing and winning the largest number of matches.

Real Madrid FC, undefeated in the 2012 World Football Challenge emerged as the victor. In 2013, the challenge was organized as the International Champions Cup and it saw some of the most formidable teams in the world of soccer compete. All matches except one were held in US stadiums with the remaining match held in Valencia, Spain. Teams that competed in this championship are the Los Angeles Galaxy from the US MLS and Valencia FC and Real Madrid FC from Spain. From Italy’s Seria A league, three teams competed; Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus. From the English Premier League, Everton FC and Chelsea FC took part.

The teams were divided into two groups; a Western group and an Eastern group. Tied games were decided by penalty kicks. Teams who won a match received two points and those who lost through penalty kicks received a point. Teams that lost a match received no point. In case of a tie overall, goals came into the play, as well as a head to head match.

International Champions Cup 2015 tickets were sold liek hot cakes as fans did not want to miss this opportunity to watch the greatest teams in the history of soccer at one place.

2019 International Champions Cup Schedule Released

The schedule for the 2019 edition of the International Champions Cup is out now. It all kicks off on July 16, 2019 when ACF Fiorentina take on Chivas Guadalajara. A day later, Arsenal will be going up against five-time European champions Bayern Munich.

The Bavarians are in a major rebuilding phase this summer and have already bolstered their ranks with the addition of French full-backs Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard. The 2018 World Cup winning duo will be in action for the German champions who will cross swords the mighty Real Madrid on July 20, 2019.

The Spaniards have been one of the big-spenders in the transfer market so far with the signings of Belgian wing wizard Eden Hazard and promising Serbian hitman Luka Jovic. Rivals Atletico Madrid will get their International Champions Cup campaign underway against Chivas Guadalajara on July 23, 2019.
