The Start

The Arizona Coyotes were incepted in the year 1972 as the Winnipeg Jets. They used to be members of the WHA back then. They made a decent enough start to their tenure in the new league and made it to the playoffs in five of their first six seasons. Their form faltered after that but the Coyotes never gave up.

The franchise’s form began to pick up once again in the latter part of the first decade of the 2000’s.  They made it to the playoffs three seasons in row between 2010 and 2012. That good run of form also saw them get their hands on their first ever major title, the division championship in 2012.
