American Bang

 Before The Cadillac Three was formed, all three members of the group, Neil Mason, Jaren Johnston and Kelby Ray along with Ben Brown were a part of an American southern rock band, American Bang. The quartet joined forces in 2005. During their journey, the group came out with one EP titled ‘Move to the Music EP’ and two studio records.

The single Wild and Young placed them on the map, reaching 20th position on the Mainstream Rock Tracks. It was also used as the theme song of WWE’s show, ‘WWE NXT.’ It later featured in the film ‘Alpha and Omega’. Soon after Brown quit the group which led the trio to form The Cadillac Three.

The South

As The Cadillac Three the artists began to work on their debut self-titled album and released it in 2012. The record sold in excess of 40,000 copies in the United States. It also peaked at the nineteenth spot on the Top Heatseekers Albums chart. 

After the release of ‘The Cadillac Three,’ the lead vocalist of the band, Jaren Johnston spent a couple of years co-writing hits for famous artists like Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Jake Owen. In 2013, the trio along with Flordia Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band came out with the single The South. Matt Bjorke of Roughstock stated, “There’s some nice lyrical choices…and an overall understanding of what can make an artist unique.” It also earned them a nomination at the 2015 ACM Award in the category of ‘Vocal Event of the Year’. The band also played this song on an episode of the musical drama, ‘Nashville.’ 

Bury in My Boots

 The South became the lead single of their sophomore record ‘Bury Me In My Boots.’ It hit the markets in 2016 and went on to sell over 25,000 copies in the United States.

Apart from giving the fans two southern rock studio albums to enjoy, The Cadillac Three is also credited for spawning a couple of extended plays, ‘I’m Southern’ and ‘Peace, Love & Dixie.’ These two EPs came out in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

Legacy

 The Cadillac Three is now ready to drop its third studio album, ‘Legacy’ on August 31. They have also shared the tracklist of their upcoming record. It will feature eleven songs in total. To support ‘Legacy’, the trio announced that they will start touring in August 2017. They are scheduled to perform their first show of the trek on August 3 at the Cargo Concert Hall in Reno. After that, the group will go on to play gigs in cities like Nashville, Tulsa, Airway Heights and Buffalo. The Cadillac Three is expected to end its road trip on September 30. You can expect the band to perform some of their unreleased tracks.
