Slipknot is a heavy metal band formed in 1995. The members of this band include Corey Taylor, Mick Thomson, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Sid Wilson, Shawn Crahan and Chris Fehn. Their self titled debut album was released in 1999 and received great reviews. Their second album Iowa increased the band’s popularity further. Their third album was called Vol. 3 (The subliminal verses) after which came their very successful album All Hope is Gone. This album made it to the number one spot on the Billboard 200. After making their fans wait for a long time, they finally released their fifth album titled 5: The Grey Chapter.

Some of the most popular songs by Slipknot are “Wait and bleed,” “The negative one,” “Before I forget,” “Pulse of Maggots,” “The blister exists” and “All hope is gone.” Their live performances are known to be full of energy.
