Sara debuted with the song The Truth And Three Chords, which did not appear on the Top Forty hits on Hot Country Songs charts. She then released four studio albums No Place That Far, Born To Fly, Real Fine Place and Restless. While Real Fine Place earned the gold status from RIAA, the other three releases were certified platinum, and included the number one singles Real Fine Place to Begin, Suds in a Bucket, No Place that Far, and Born to Fly alongside top ten hits such as Cheatin, Perfect, I Keep Looking, and a cover of the Edwin McCain song Couldn’t Ask For More.

In 2007, she released her Greatest Hits album that produced the top fifteen hits As If, and You’ll Always Be Ma Baby.  Her 2011 album, Stronger gave the chart-topping single A Little Bit Stronger, which she co-wrote with Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott. The songstress has won an award each from Dove Award, Broadcast Music Award, Country Music Award, Academy of Country Music and Billboard. Sara Evans began her singing career in 1995 when she recorded demos that later impressed Nashville songwriter Harlan Howard, particularly her performance his track Tiger by the Tail. The songwriter decided to help Evans launch her singing career, leading her to a record deal with RCA Nashville, where she record to sing till today. She then released her debut album with three singles Shame About That,Ture Lies and a title track, none of which surfaced toe the top forty charts. Towards the end of the year, she released an EP called I’ll Be Home By Christmas, comprising of four songs, which coincided with her Christmas tour. This EP included the title track along with the songs Go Say It On The Mountain, O Come Ye All Faithful, and a duet with country legend Brad Paisley, New Again.

By June 2010, Sara Evans debuted A Little Bit Stronger, the lead single from her sixth studio album on her fanclub party, and later released it on radio in September. Being among the few tracks on the album that was not co-written by her, it was pitched her way by Hillary Scott, and was included as the soundtrack on the 2010 movie Country Strong. It initially appeared on the fifty-sixth spot on us Billboard Hot Country Songs for a week in October and then peaked at the number one spot by May 2011. Evans also performed the hit in the finale of American ABC TV program Dancing with the Stars in its twelfth season. The song soon marked the singer’s first ever certified platinum single. The next single to be released in 2011, from the same album My Heart Cannot Tell You No, ultimately hit the twenty-first spot on country charts by early 2012. The same year, Evans issued her third official single of the same album called Anywhere, following which she soon entered the recording studio to work on her seventh offering.
