After the release of his last album, ?8? which hit the markets three years ago in 2014, Luis Fonsi took a break from producing music. In early 2017, he returned with Daddy Yankee with a new song, Despacito. The track became a viral hit and in just six months, became the most streamed track of all time. The track set a couple of records on VEVO including one for becoming the Spanish language video with the most views in 24 hours. It was also awarded double diamond certification in Mexico.
