Though Lines, Vines and Trying Times did not quite reach the same heights commercially compared to the previous two albums, it still managed to attain a Platinum certification from the RIAA. Renowned pop rock band Jonas Brothers was formed in the year 2005. They gained popularity with their appearances on the Disney Channel TV network. The group consists of brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas.
