Jason Aldean 2024 Tickets

Although Aldean was perfectly nurtured music-wise, he did not have the smoothest upbringing. Born in 1977, Aldean’s parents divorced when he was three, & he was resigned to dividing his time between them. He lived with his mother in Macon, Georgia, throughout the year, but summer holidays brought him to his guitar-playing father in Homestead, Florida, who used to draw up guitar chords for Jason to practice before he left for work, returning to play together with his son in the evening. Encouraged from both ends, Jason performed at Macon’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall at the age of 14. Encouraged by the response, he began playing in talent shows, idolizing acts like Alabama & George Strait, & joining the house band at the Nashville South nightspot. While touring with his band in Atlanta, he was approached by Michael Knox, a producer for Warner-Chappell.

Signing up with the song-publishing company, he moved to Nashville in 1998, looking for a record label. Through a mixture of lack of interest, broken promises & his own lackadaisical approach, Aldean was left thoroughly frustrated, giving himself a final shot with a showcasing at The Wildhorse Saloon. Towards the end, he signed up with the independent Broken Bow Records to release Jason Aldean, his debut album, in 2005, with the lead-off single "Hicktown". It brought forth a whirlwind of publicity & ACM nominations, & Aldean began an astounding streak of five consecutive Top ten hits, a streak that stretched into his second effort, 2007’s Relentless. With the release of the highly successful Wide Open in 2009, Aldean hit the jackpot in terms of commercial & critical success. He has recently collaborated with Bryan Adams & Alabama’s Randy Owen on CMT Crossroads.

Aldean’s hip singing & up-tempo beats were introduced with the catchy "Hicktown", his first single, off Jason Aldean. It reached #10, but his next effort, "Why", became his first #1. Another single, "Amarillo Sky", earned ACM nominations for song & video of the year, peaking at #4. Jason Aldean went platinum, & the artist recreated the pomp & swagger with Relentless, whose singles "Laughed until We Cried" & "Johnny Cash" propelled it to gold certification. The release of Wide Open was met with thunderous success as Aldean hit the top of the charts with three straight #1s: "She’s Country", "Big Green Tractor" & "The Truth". "Crazy Town" was the fourth single released off the album and Aldean raked in the plaudits, getting together with Bryan Adams for a rousing version of the latter’s hit, "Heaven", on CMT Crossroads. The performance received two nominations at the 2010 CMT Music Awards, a show where Aldean also received video nominations for "The Truth".

By summer 2014, Jason Aldean’s single “Burnin’ It Down” had charted atop several Billboard charts, including the Hot Country Songs chart. The track became the lead for his latest and sixth studio album, Old Boots, New Dirt, which went platinum. The album was very well received on the charts as it garnered the number one spot on the Billboard 200, Top Country Albums chart and Canadian Albums Chart among others. Soon after the album’s release in fall, Aldean announced an extensive two-leg North American tour. He has been on the road since then as part of his ‘Burn It Down Tour,’ which will merge with Kenny Chesney’s ‘The Big Revival Tour’ in summer 2015 for stadium shows.

Jason Aldean’s upbeat & brisk music has installed him as a firm fan favorite.
