Critics highly acclaimed Stan and it was ranked as the third greatest rap song of all time by Q-Magazine and peaked at number 290 in 500 Greatest Songs of all Time list in the Rolling Stone magazine.
 
Eminem was featured on the cover of The Source magazine and he was the first ever white person to get that. The Eminem Show was his third album released in 2002 and became an overnight hit by selling 1 million copies in its first week of release. It was declared as the best-selling album of 2002.  The same year he made his acting debut with the movie named 8 mile and its title track Lose Yourself. He also won Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2003. With such success and fame he started his own record label with the name of Shady records and reunited with his old rap group D12 by giving out huge hits.
 
His fourth and fifth album was named Encore and Relapse respectively, also turned out to be chart topper hits. His sixth album came out in 2010 with the name Recovery. It was his sixth consecutive chart topping album not only in US but many other different countries as well. Recovery stayed on the top for the five consecutive weeks on US billboards. He was declared to be the first artist in history to have two year-end bestselling albums.
 
The specialty of his songs lies in his verbal energy and its link to the realities of the world. This made him won thirteen Grammies till date and earned him great titles like The Best Rapper Alive and Best Rapper Ever. He was voted 82nd Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Artist of all time by Rolling Stone, ninth on MTV's list of The Greatest MCs of All Time and thirteenth on MTV's 22 Greatest Voices in Music.
