Cincinnati is one of the major towns of the state of Ohio in America. The city has a beautiful sight as it is located on the northern side of the Ohio River – right at the borderline of Ohio and Kentucky. The population of the city has crossed the range of 3 million and makes it the third largest in the country. The interesting fact about the residents is that they are called the Cincinnatians.

The history of the town of Cincinnati is very interesting, as it has always been considered to be a very rich place due to its resources. These resources were used to benefit the local people and all of the coastal areas in the surroundings. The city is also referred to as the first pure American city, as it’s planning and development was done by the Americans themselves. The European influence is quite nominal, due to very few settlements of the other communities. The development of rail tracks and the steamboat services made it easier for the people to move to other prosperous cities in nineteenth century, which was a major cause in the fall of the ratio of the settlements.

Cincinnati has offered great many entertainment options for the local residents and the visitors from outside. There are some of the best known sports teams in the area like the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Masters and others. The Ohio Jazz Festival is definitely a major tourist attraction in the area. There are other fun activities like the Thanksgiving Day race. The city of Cincinnati is known for its Italian based architecture, and many old buildings with such style are easily seen in the downtown area.  That place used to be a center of residence for the Germans, and it has been in the list of National Register of Historic Places.

Cincinnati had served as a major resource center in the Civil War of American history. There is a legacy of George Washington, being the resident of the same town in his later days. The city had seen a great change during the war of independence. The majority of local residents are the descendants of the revolutionary heroes, who were granted many pieces of land in the town and the surrounding areas.

Cincinnati worked as a center of supplies and ammunition in the Civil War. The economy of the town owes to the great many slaves, who had worked as the laborers at the time of the settlement. It is a town of great many architectural styles, which add to the diversity and beauty of the town. The historical background of the place has a deeper influence on the buildings and the other monuments like Scripps Center, Carew Tower, Isaac M. Wise Temple, and Cincinnati Museum. All these places present a great view, and give an insight into the mindset of the people of the area. The people of the town are truly art lovers and they make all the efforts to boost the local and national talent. The Cincinnati Tickets provides you a chance to have a great vacation and to enjoy various artistic activities held in the area.
