About The Mother****** with the Hat

The Mother With the Hat tells the story of Jackie, a former drug dealer who is released from prison, rehabilitated and returning to life and his girlfriend, Veronica. He finds a hat at Veronica’s apartment and accuses her of cheating, since the hat doesn’t belong to him. He then goes to his parole and drug counselor, Ralph, for help. At the same time, Ralph’s wife, Victoria, has gotten tired of her husband’s cheating and affairs. That is hardly it; this play then moves from one level to another, expanding and twisting to create a fascinating story.
