Belle offers the beast to keep her in prison in place of her father and the beast agrees to that on one condition that if she wants to take her father’s place then she will have to remain imprisoned forever. They both don’t like each other in the beginning because Belle thinks the beast is just too coldhearted and the beast views Belle as a very stubborn girl. As they continue to spend time together in that castle they find out those first impressions aren’t always the last impressions.
