About the Musical

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical premiered at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco in September, 2013. The try-out show officially opened in theatres a month later i.e. in October. It was created by directors Jason Howland and Marc Bruni and choreographer Josh Prince. All the shows in San Francisco were sold out. The musical’s premiere Broadway presentation was held in January, 2014 which was attended by Carole King herself. Over the years, Beautiful has embarked on a West End Tour in 2015 and is currently on a Broadway tour and a US national tour.
