The fictional Jukebox musical Mamma Mia takes its name from a chart topper by the rocking pop music group from seventies, ABBA. Based on the songs by this Swedish band ABBA, the composers include its former band members Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. The idea behind this musical was that of Judy Cramer, who presented it to the two song-writers.
