The team later became Reading Marines in 1920 and then Reading Aces until finally settling for the name of Reading Keystones in 1923. In 1932, the team relocated to Albany New York to become Albany Senators and then to Jersey City to become Jersey City Giants. It was in 1987 when the team moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania for the first time after it was purchased by Northeast Baseball Inc. In 1989, the team moved to Lackawanna County and was renamed to Scranton/Wilkes Barre Red Barons.
