The hip hop artist Currency was a member of the 504 Boyz initially. In the year 2002, he signed with Master P’s No Limit Records and appeared in five songs from its album ‘Good Side, Bad Side’. After the album release in 2004, Currency signed in with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment and Cash Music Records. He continued to work with these labels for three years while he created his own Fly Society along with Terry Kennedy. The organization was a clothing company but later on it expanded to release music.

Currency mentioned that it is going to be a free album. Two more albums ‘Puff Daddy’ and ‘A Jet Life’ are also on the list to be released.
