Becky G and J Balvin have announced a co-headlining tour that will bring them to many US cities. The “6 A.M.” reggaeton singer and “Can't Stop Dancin’” songstress of Mexican descent took to Twitter to share the tour news and immediately created a social media upheaval. Becky G – A Rapid Ascent as a Musical Artist
Effortlessly transitioning from hardcore rap to catchy pop chorus, singer/rapper Becky G is a versatile performer. Before breaking out as a solo artist, she worked alongside stars like Ke$ha and Cody Simpson. California native, Rebecca Marie Gomez became Becky G in 2011. She recorded and uploaded her covers of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Otis” and “Novacane” by Frank Ocean on different video-sharing sites. The following year she came out with her mixtape “@itsbeckygomez” and featured on Cody Simpson’s song “Wish U Were Here”.
