The beginning of the journey
Panic! At The Disco started out with friends Spencer Smith (drums) and Ryan Ross (guitar), who began by covering Blink-182 songs together. Soon, they felt the need to make their own music and recruited two additional classmates, bassist Brent Wilson and guitar/vocalist Brendon Urie. In the middle of 2006, Wilson left and Jon Walker was brought on board. Then in 2009, Ross and Walker both decided to part ways with Panic! At The Disco to form their own band. Urie and Smith continued as a duo and added Ian Crawford and Dallon Weekes to the lineup to fill in the holes.
