It’s a six-member group
The formation of Dead and Company was announced in the summer of 2015 on the heels of Grateful Dead’s top-selling Fare Thee Well Tour. The group comprises drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart and guitarist Bob Weir from the legendary rock act we have been speaking about. Joining the lineup will be popular guitarist and singer-songwriter John Mayer who confesses to be a long-time fan of the Grateful Dead. Jeff Chimenti and Oteil Burbridge who have lent their support to the Deads on previous occasions will also be joining Dead and Company.
Their tour is just around the corner
Dead and Company tickets are selling fast for the upcoming jaunt that kicks off on October 29 at Times Union Center, Albany. Halloween Night will see the band playing at the infamous Madison Square Garden followed by gigs at the Verizon Center and Wells Fargo Center. The tour will culminate at The Forum in Los Angeles on the last day of the year.
