Stagecoach Festival 3 Day Pass
The Stagecoach Festival, described by many as a cousin of the Coachella festival, has grown rapidly over the years. In 2012, it played host to fifty five thousand people and was completely sold out. This year, it is set to play host to many fabulous country artists over the three wonderful days. The first day will feature Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sarah Jarosz and several others. The second day of the festival will feature concerts by Ashley Monroe, Crystal Gayle, Jason Aldean, Sarah Haze, Willie Watson, Tyler Farr and others.
The Stagecoach Festival's third day will play host to Dustin Lynch, John Prine, I See Hawks in LA, Luke Bryan, Michael Nesmith, Susanna Hoffs, Wanda Jackson and others. Dubbed as California's Country Music Festival, it is sponsored by Toyota and provides on–site camping facilities for festival goers who love the idea. The festival also has a variety of food and beverages from many restaurants that set up stalls at the festival. In 2013, for example, Jackelope RanchRuth's Chris Steakhouse, Las Casuelas Quinta, Spicy Pie, Fisherman's Market & Grill, Pink's Hot Dogs and Waffleman Ice Cream Sandwiches had stalls at the festival.
The festival also has several non–musical events and competitions, with the fan favorite being the Stagecoach Invitational BBQ Championship; featuring teams from all over the US competing for the KCBS California State Championship. This event is held in partnership with the Kansas City BBQ Society. In 2013, artists and bands who played live music at the event included Toby Keith, Hank Williams Jr, Trade Adkins, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Jana Kramer, the Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker and Thompson Square.
This year, Lynyrd Skynyrd is set to be one of the headliners at the festival. Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, the band plays a unique blend of rock in its blues, Southern and hard rock flavors. The band has developed a style of its own and gained a lot of fame for it. Established originally in 1964, the band remained active until 1977. In 1987, the band reunited and has been active since then. Its music has been released by the who's who of the record music industry; MCA, CMS, Atlantic, Roadrunner and Universal. Current members of the band are Gary Rossington, Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Michael Cartellone, Peter Keys, Johnny Colt and Mark Matejka.
Lynyrd Skynyrd rose to fame with the release of songs, Free Bird and Sweet Home Alabama. An untimely end of the band happened in 1977 after three members passed away in an unfortunate plane crash. The remaining members reunited, recruited more musicians and began playing again a decade later. Since then, they have gone on to release some of the most sensational music in rock, so much so that they have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band will also be joined at the festival by Luke Bryan, Ashley Monroe and Jason Aldean, among others. To catch them live, pre-order Stagecoach Festival tickets now.
