The beginning for the Swon Brothers

The Oklahoma natives, Zach and Colton were born to Kelly and Tammy Swon. Their parents were founders of the southern gospel group, Exodus so they were born with music in their blood. They used to go with their parents as children to perform in local events and soon Zach started to play drums for the group. Later in 1995 the brothers played at the Westwood Music Show where they performed covers of some of the biggest names in music like Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.

Going big

In 2000, Zach and Colton decided to pursue music full time and so they came up with the name, The Swon Brothers. The duo took part in ‘American Idol’s’ seventh season were they were able to reach the Top 48. The brothers also finished fourth on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ in 2013. That was followed by the release of their self-titled debut album in 2014 which picked up the sixth spot on the US Top Country Albums chart.
