Eric Church found his interest in music at a very young age. At the age of thirteen, he also started writing songs and learned to play guitar. During his time in college, Church formed a band, Mountain Boys. After graduating, Eric Church moved to Nashville and started getting his songs recorded by other stars, such as Terri Clark’s version of The World Needs a Drink. During this time he met the producer Jay Joyce and the two started recording demos. In early 2006, Eric Church released his debut single, How ‘Bout You, came out in 2006 and became part of the Top 20 country hits. His debut album, titled “Sinners Like Me”, came out the same year and became a commercial hit.
His album, “Carolina”, came out in 2009 and produced two Top 10 singles, including the certified gold hit, Hell on the Heart. In the following year, Church gave another gold hit, Smoke a Little Smoke. The same year Church also bagged an ACM Award for the Top New Soloist. His third album, “Chief”, came out in 2011 and became his ticket to superstardom. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and also produced Eric Church’s first number one hit, Drink in My Hand. Another single from the album, Springsteen, became an even bigger hit in 2012 and crossed over to the Top 20. This album also won a CMA Award. The outspoken singer and songwriter, Dwight Yoakam, is a popular country music act since the early eighties. His impressive repertoire includes at least five number one albums on the Billboard, twelve gold albums and nine platinum records. His worldwide record sales exceed twenty-five million albums. Dwight has charted more than thirty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart as well. In the late seventies, Dwight began to take professional interest in music and moved to Nashville where he met the guitarist Pete Anderson. He released his debut album “Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc,” in 1986 and thus began his career. Dwight Yoakam has released sixteen studio albums in addition to several others. He has earned two Grammy Awards from fifteen nominations among several other accolades. His repertoire includes some of the best selling albums including the triple platinum “This Time”.
