Cast Of Impractical Jokers
The show Impractical Jokers premiered on TruTV in 2011 and features a quartet called The Tenderloins. The show is different than other prank TV programs in terms that the stars of this show are unaware of the prank details until the time to perform it on strangers. In the show, one cast member has to perform and the rest three feed lines to him via microphone from behind the scene. These lines are usually humorous, creating an awkward exchange between the stranger and the prankster. The instructions are always humiliating or strange. All the four members of the crew take on the same task but they have to perform it individually and in different ways. Each prankster gets a score based on his success and the one with the lowest score has to perform a more embarrassing or difficult task. The pranks that have been performed on the earlier episodes of Impractical Jokers include the prankster eating food from people’s plates, hiring people to sign odd petitions and reading fake horoscopes.
The show’s second season of twenty eight episodes premiered in 2012. With the renewal of third season, a six-episode spinoff series Jokers After Party was also announced. Impractical Jokers was received well by the critics, with New York Post’s Linda Stasi calling it "possibly the funniest, most ridiculous show I’ve seen in years.” It has also been compared to the earlier successful prank shows including Jackass and Candid Camera. The hidden camera show returned with "Bigger in Texas" in March 2013 on truTV.
Cast of Impractical Jokers is very impressive as each member has his own area of expertise when it comes to comedy. One of the members Joe Gatto is known for doing anything without hesitation. Goofy, loud and in-your-face, Joe never fails to crack up the strangers and make a scene with his outrageous behavior. The other member, Sal is said to be the sensitive one who is easily embarrassed. He has a witty and quick humor and has the ability to dissolve extremely awkward situations. Q doesn’t really endear himself to people, but has a sharp humor. He is funny and can entertain quite well. The other member Murr is said to have the most evil mind. Calculating and cool, Murr analyzes each challenge so as to find a better and easy way to victory. These guys make up for a great comic quartet that pokes fun at each other as well as at the strangers on streets, public parks and boardwalk.
During the live show, these boys can target any one from the audience and play a prank on them. The Impractical Jokers is a hilarious program that means no harm to audiences and the main aim of the show is to create excitement and laughter.
