The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Romance of the Violin concert features violinist Brittany Sklar. She is an award winning musician, who has won the New Jersey ASTA String Competition, amongst others. She started studying the violin at the age of four and went on to win the Juilliard Pre-College Violin Concerto competition two times. From then onwards, she performed with many leading orchestras and won competitions with the Gotham Chamber Orchestra, New York Lawyers Orchestra, Long Island Sound Symphony, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Summit Music Festival.
 
Brittany Sklar, violinist at the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Romance of the Violin concert, has also performed with the New World Symphony, the Ridgewood Symphony, the Omaha Symphony and the West Virginia Appalachian Children’s Choir. She has also performed at the Curtis Institute of Music, the New York Arts Club and the New Canaan Historical Society.
