His contract with Stiff Records was the kick start he was waiting for in his career. His first album ‘My Aim Is True’ became a platinum hit in the US. It was also charted on the Billboard Charts bringing fame and fortune for Costello. The album is among the Rolling Stone’s list of Greatest Albums of All Times. Since then, Elvis Costello has released over 30 studio albums and many live as well as compilation albums. His best albums include Armed Forces, Get Happy!!, Punch the Clock, Spike, Mighty Like a Rose and Brutal Youth.
